We were in Tucson today for the Great Tucson Beer Festival and needed a place to eat lunch. We searched out a brewery of course. The descriptions and reviews pointed us to Barrio Brewing. Getting there you drive through basically an old industrial area, the barrio I presume. Great old building that is re-purposed as a brewery. The decor is really cool, an old warehouse with lots of rustic and querky touches. The beers I had were very good. Had there Rich Rod Red, great flavor and color. The food was excellent as well. We managed to hang out for a couple of hours. On the way out we grabbed a growler of Tucson Blonde to enjoy as we waited for the festival tonight. Had a great time and I would highly recommend a stop by the Barrio Brewing Company. This entry was posted in Blog by Kurt Kuhl and comments are open.
